The Story: Jean Pierre, the leader of the rebellion in France , plans the storming of the Bastille. He has the support of the people of Paris, especially that of a young lady, Angelique Trevee. Although she is engaged to a lawyer from Lyonne, Françoise LeFouche, she declares her love to Jean Pierre. It is only when her fiancé returns to Paris to plan their wedding that the truth is revealed and Francois vows revenge. Will love flourish and will the flag of freedom rise out of the ashes?
