This year they decided to tell a story called "BREAK", which symbolizes the intention of breaking from the norm of copying American Hip Hop as is and creating something with more of an African flavour. BREAK also refers to the trance of our common South African and Human ancestors, the Bushman. The story follows a dancer through the search for identity and then search for originality and individuality. This journey will create a production that will give young dancers to travel internationally to showcase what they create.
South African Hip Hop Dancers should not miss this production. It is a revolutionary introduction to a new way of the world looking at what comes from South Africa. All the music in the production is also from Cape Town & South Africa
