[ab]OUT Drinks Club - Lion Corner Tavern

The Lion Corner Tavern (famous old landmark on Lower Main rd) has had a sprinkling of fairy dust bringing it back to life. The Lion Corner Tavern has been revamped and reopened as a gay bar, something that has been missing in Obs. Business partners; Casper Potgieter, Hardus Lindeque and Gert du Preez stumbled upon the building which had seen better days and they instantly recognised the potential. This Purple Paradise, with its eclectic menu, lush atmosphere and fabulous drinks and cocktail menu, is a great place to hang out with friends, or to make new ones, have an intimate dinner or party at the bar. Be sure to check out the courtyard the fireplace makes it usable in winter! Lion Corner Tavern is offering a Purple Rain welcoming cocktail and will have some snacks for all to sample!
